Sonya Hueftle:
Narrative therapy and mindfulness
Sonya is a licensed professional counselor candidate (LPCC)

I work with adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in deep listening, respect for your lived experience, and the belief that healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world.
I specialize in narrative therapy, which centers your story and honors your values, culture, and strengths. Together, we can explore the stories that shape your life and gently rewrite the ones that no longer serve you. I also incorporate nature metaphors, mindfulness, and guided meditation to help you slow down, access your inner wisdom, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
My style is calm, collaborative, and affirming. I also speak Spanish. I welcome whatever you bring and offer a space where things can make more sense, where you can find meaning, and where change feels possible. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story.
Sonya works with adults from to 18-100. She is
conversationally fluent in Spanish.
